SSSP Core Services

The Student Success Act of 2012 targets funding the following core services to assist students with development of education plans:

  • Orientation

  • Assessment

  • Counseling / Advising

    • Education Plan (Abbreviated; 1-2 semester plan)

    • Education Plan (Comprehensive; 3-4+ semester plan)

  • At Risk Follow up Services

  • Follow up Services (other)

The goals are to ensure that all students complete their college courses, persist to the next academic term, and achieve their educational objectives through the assistance of the student-direct components which include admissions, orientation, assessment/testing, counseling and student follow-up.
